Georgiou Group has been awarded a $38 million contract to deliver the Breakfast Creek Green Bridge with Brady Marine and Civil for repeat client, Brisbane City Council.
Georgiou Group has been awarded a $38 million contract to deliver the Breakfast Creek Green Bridge with Brady Marine and Civil for repeat client, Brisbane City Council.
Scope of works involves the construction of an 80 metre arch bridge spanning across Breakfast Creek, extending the existing Lores Bonney Riverwalk by 175 metres and dedicated pedestrian and cyclist paths.
Chief Executive Officer Gary Georgiou said, “This is now the fifth project Georgiou has delivered in joint venture with Brady Marine and Civil – it’s a great partnership where we have an alignment of approach and a strong understanding of the client’s needs when it comes to infrastructure delivery.”
“Having recently delivered the Indooroopilly Riverwalk, City Botanical Gardens Riverwalk and the HOTA Green Bridge projects in Queensland, we look forward to applying our expertise and knowledge to this project as part of Brisbane City Council’s Green Bridges program.”
Providing an enhanced transport link, completion is expected during early 2024.
