QUALITY
As Georgiou broadens its capability to deliver projects that are more complex and diversified, the company is continually reviewing and revising its existing systems to support these.
As Georgiou’s systems evolve, we are continually assessing their overall effectiveness so that they add value to our customers without undue additional resource and effort.
To achieve this and limit the number of procedures and forms, Georgiou is focused on ensuring its systems at corporate and divisional levels are well integrated and aligned. |

ENVIRONMENTAL
Georgiou is committed to minimising, where reasonably practicable, its impact on the natural environment and social surroundings for the benefit of current and future generations.
It continues to maintain the Georgiou Management System in accordance to ISO 14001 and regularly completes internal performance audits to assess compliance.
Georgiou works hard to ensure it complies with all relevant legislation and regulations. In the 2007/08 year Georgiou continued its excellent environmental record, maintaining a clean slate of no environmental prosecutions. |

Georgiou’s Management System is maintained in accordance to AS/NZS 4801, with regular internal performance audits undertaken to assess compliance.
Georgiou’s strong safety culture is continually demonstrated by the involvement of senior management in safety in the workplace, the ongoing development of safety systems, our investment in employee training and our staff’s safe conduct on work sites.
It was exceptional safety awareness that was the key to the Plant Department achieving six years lost time injury (LTI) free at the end of the 2007/08 year. |
